Not minding the heat, residents of Brgy. Campetic and other nearby communities lined up in the SPSPS Community Pantry which was opened at 8:00 AM today, May 1, 2021.
The pantry was launched during the Labor Day as a dedication to those who have lost their job during the pandemic but continue to work hard to provide for their families.
The Philippine National Police together with the Barangay officials were present to enforce the health and safety protocols. Physical distancing was strictly observed.
The pantry was able to serve at least 200 individuals. It was made possible with the coordination and generosity of the SPSPS officials, administrative staff, faculty members, students, alumni, and other donors.
The pantry will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
