The president of Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) facilitated the strategic planning session of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Tacloban, Leyte Inc. (PCCI-TL) at The Oriental Leyte Presidential Residence on Feb. 6, 2022.

Dr. Erwin Vincent Alcala, SPSPS president, guided the officers and members of PCCI – Tacloban in revisiting the chamber’s mission statement and organizational thrusts.

Using scientific models, the chamber revised its basic thrusts to make them more relevant to the current time and in accordance with its future plans.

In addition, new objectives and strategies were identified in order to achieve the revised chamber vision.

The strategic planning session set a new direction for PCCI-TL for the next five years to uplift and improve the business landscape in the region.

Consequently, the strategies of the chamber will provide opportunities for SPSPS to link with various industries and work on relevant programs and projects. Such linkage will enrich and strengthen the industry experience of faculty members of the institution.  (Story by Carlo B. Afable)
