Paulinian alumnus recognized among Eastern Visayas’ Outstanding Changemakers

Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) celebrates the achievement of Paulinian alumnus Gilbert T. Trinchera, CPA, who received the Outstanding Eastern Visayan for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award during the Outstanding Eastern Visayans Awards (OEVA) 2026 on July 31 at The Tropics at MacArthur Park in Palo, Leyte.

Organized by the Department of Tourism Region VIII in partnership with Tingog Party-list and the Office of Rep. Jude A. Acidre, OEVA recognizes individuals whose exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedicated service have made meaningful contributions to the development and progress of Eastern Visayas.

Trinchera’s achievement exemplifies the Paulinian mission of forming professionals who lead with competence, character, and purpose.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from SPSPS in 2011 and his Master of Technology Management from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2019.

Today, Trinchera serves as Partner for Technology Consulting at KPMG in the Philippines (R.G. Manabat & Co.) while also sharing his expertise as a part-time faculty member in the Accountancy programs at SPSPS.
