As the marketing industry demands sharper skills, greater adaptability, and stronger connections between theory and practice, Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS), through the Saint Paul Junior Marketing Association (SPJMA), continues to bring business education to life by connecting BS in Business Administration major in Marketing Management students with industry practitioners, September 10.
In his opening remarks, SPJMA Adviser Mr. Barnett Balberia, LPT, emphasized the seminar’s purpose of bridging classroom learning with industry practice through direct engagement with marketing professionals.
“We have to tap into industry practitioners to reinforce what students actually learn in the classroom,” Balberia said.
Paulinian alumna Ms. Jhudiela Faye B. Pauner, PR and Marketing Manager of Big Bad Wolf Books Philippines, served as the guest speaker and shared her professional experience in brand and public relations marketing.
Through her session, “Charting Your Career Path in Marketing,” Pauner discussed strategies and practical insights that help students navigate the evolving marketing industry and prepare for their future careers.
Pauner also shared her inspiring professional journey, giving students a glimpse into the experiences, challenges, and lessons that shaped her career in marketing and public relations. Her story encouraged students to remain adaptable, intentional, and open to opportunities as they chart their own career paths.
The initiative of SPJMA supports SPSPS’ strategic direction of strengthening academic excellence and relevance by aligning its business programs with current industry demands and real-world marketing practices.
