TP Café, in partnership with Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS), conducted the TESDA Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) Registration and Training Induction for learners enrolled in the Barista NC II and Bread and Pastry Production NC II programs, September 10.
The activity formally introduced the scholars to the training process and provided them with essential information on the benefits and responsibilities under TESDA scholarship programs.
Cliff Leuterio, TESDA Provincial Office staff, discussed the benefits available to scholars and outlined their responsibilities throughout the duration of their training. He emphasized the importance of attendance, active participation, and compliance with the requirements of the competency-based training program.
Leuterio also discussed the mandatory competency assessment, which evaluates whether learners have acquired the knowledge, skills, and competencies required under the respective TESDA Training Regulations. Learners who successfully demonstrate the required competencies may earn a National Certificate.
The training induction also familiarized the scholars with TESDA’s competency-based technical-vocational education and training system as they begin the said trainings.
Through the partnership, TP Café, a coffee shop located within the school, and SPSPS continue to provide learners with access to industry-relevant training and skills development opportunities that prepare them for employment and professional growth.
