Admission Policy

 

Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) adopts an open admission policy to all students who seek quality education. Admission of students is anchored on the guidelines on Admission stipulated in the Manual of Regulations for Private Higher Education (MORPHE), the Guidance Center, Academic Deans, and the institution’s Student Handbook. With the new normal, the school utilizes the existing technological resource and online platforms for the admission of students to SPSPS. Undaunted by the current pandemic, the institution continues to sustain its quality customer-centered admission services living the principle of convenience and access for our clients without compromising the integrity of the admission process.

Admission Requirements

Senior High School

  1. Original PSA Certificate of Live Birth
  2. Original Grade 10 Report Card
  3. Original Certificate of Good Moral Character
  4. ESC Grantee Certificate from Junior High School Principal (if from private school)
  5. QVR Certificate approved by DepEd (if from private school and not ESC grantee)
  6. Four (4) copies of recent 2×2 colored picture

Undergraduate

A. Freshmen

  1. Original Form 138-A (Senior High School Report Card)
  2. Original Certificate of Good Moral Character
  3. Original PSA Live Birth Certificate
  4. Two (2) copies of recent 2×2 colored picture

B. Transferees

  1. Honorable Dismissal with informative copy of TOR
  2. Original PSA Live Birth Certificate
  3. Original Certificate of Good Moral Character
  4. Two (2) copies of recent 2×2 colored ID picture
  5. Certificate of NSTP Serial Number (If NSTP 2 is earned in the previous school)

Juris Doctor Program

A. Freshmen

  1. Original TOR with remarks “For Further Studies”
  2. Original PSA Live Birth Certificate
  3. Original Certificate of Good Moral Character
  4. Two (2) copies of recent 2×2 colored ID picture
  5. Original copy of PSA Certificate of Marriage (for female married student whose maiden name is what appears in the presented TOR))

B. Transferees

  1. Honorable Dismissal with informative copy of TOR
  2. Original PSA Live Birth Certificate
  3. Two (2) copies of recent 2×2 colored ID picture
  4. Original copy of PSA Certificate of Marriage (for married female student, if admission
    credentials submitted is still in the maiden name of the student)

C. Returnees

  1. Clearance from the Finance Office and Office of the School Registrar (for lacking
    admission credentials)
  2. Copy of Evaluation of Grades

Admission Process

  1. After payment of the entrance fee, via payment facilities of SPSPS, the student shall submit scanned copies of the corresponding Admission Credentials, together with their proof of payment to treasury.spsps@gmail.com, or can send said documents to registrar@spsps.edu.ph.
  2. Original copies of the required admission credentials shall be sent by the student to the Office of the School Registrar, SPSPS.
  3. Original copies of the aforementioned admission credentials shall be sent to SPSPS via courier, address it to: The School Registrar, Saint Paul School of Professional Studies, Campetic, Palo, Leyte, 6501.
  4. A student with lacking major admission credentials (i.e., form 138-A, Certificate of Good Moral Character, Honorable Dismissal with Informative copy of TOR) are enlisted in the probationary enrollment, maintained by the Registrar’s office.
  5. An e-copy of Deed of Undertaking will be sent to the Gsuite accounts of probationary enrollees for them to fill-out and sent back to the Registrar’s office.
