Through the help and support of Mr. Johny Go and his family and the Rotary Club of San Juanico, the 3-storey building will soon rise adjacent to the Conrita Tiu-Tudtud Hall.

CENTER FOR STUDENT-RELATED ACTIVITIES

During his welcome message, School President, Dr. Erwin Vincent G. Alcala, CPA, expressed that once fully operational, the building will house various student services offices and facilities to be utilized by students and employees.

“The impact of this building will be for all students, not just the current students but for future students of SPSPS…We will have another facility to cater to the needs of our students. A place where we can hold [student-related] activities,” said President Alcala.

The infrastructure project is in line with the institution’s dedication to enhance its educational support facilities to ensure a high-quality education and experience for its students.

Moreover, President Alcala thanked the school administrators and benefactors for their efforts in making sure the project became a reality.

“I would like to thank our benefactor Mr. Johny Go and his family, through the efforts of the Rotary Club of San Juanico. In particular, we have here Architect [Ed] Cumpio and [Rotary Club of San Juanico] Past President Jong Brosas…We’re very glad that we are having this student center here in SPSPS.”

The building, targeted for completion in 7 months, is named in honor of Go’s father, Manuel Ngo, who is also the beloved partner of Mary Ngo.

Members of the SPSPS Board of Trustees, school officials, faculty, staff, and students took part in the said event. Also in attendance were the benefactor, Mr. Johny Go, Engr. Arturo Rama, Past Presidents of the Rotary Club of San Juanico Jong Brosas and Architect Ed Cumpio, and Rev. Fr. Michael Kirby Lauron, who officiated the undertaking.
